A walk in the park

Took a stroll through Central Park this afternoon. Entered off of 96th street on the east side. Much less crowded than at the southern end.  Just snapped a few shots with my ipad3 and thought I would share. It was such a lovely afternoon. What a perfect Spring day.

We started at the East Meadow....

Then started walking south....

Walked under Bridge No. 24, one of the oldest cast iron bridges in America, that just reopened last month....

To the resevoir....

Then turned east...

....and exited out by The Guggenheim and headed back to work.

  2. Thanks for your appreciation! I feel very strongly about the plight of our native bees and hope that this blog will help people identify them and want to help save them by growing nectar-rich plants in their gardens.
